This is a letter to my amazing brothers and sisters in Christ who have been so impactful in my life through this past season at home. I love you all!

Thank you. Thank you for welcoming me in with open arms, when I still didn’t dare to hope that true godly community could exist on its own out there in the world. You invited me in wholeheartedly, and created a space for me to learn how to implement a posture of worship in my life. The invitation was always open for me to come as I was.

You challenged me to constantly reevaluate my priorities in life.

You showed me again and again the truth of Hebrews 10:25 – “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

Even in the challenges of human relationships, your love has always stood out to me above all.

When I think of you, 1 Peter 4:7-8 comes to mind.

“The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.”

Thank you for living these verses out in your lives. I know you’re going to go far in this world, and I’m oh-so-grateful to have known you for this season.

Please know that you always have a seat at my table. No matter where God takes me, you won’t be far from my heart and my prayers. I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes each and every one of you.

Galatians 6:9 is a verse I’d like to encourage you with.

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Friends! Let’s keep that oil burning for the Lord! No matter where He takes each of us in life, I believe we all have an incredible opportunity to spread this light we carry. Our passion for the Lord isn’t dependent on what our group looks like, but on our relationship with Him. Allow this meeting together to be fuel to a fire that’s already going, not a crutch to lean on in our personal relationship with Jesus.

Let’s live our lives as a sacrifice to the One who is worthy of it all, in obedience, and see how many more people He lights on fire for Him!

I love you all, and I’m cheering you on, always. You have a friend in me.

Love, Shanan
